The community’s existing retail marketplace is being transformed into The Shops at Park Newport with refreshed storefronts, improved outdoor seating, and expanded dining and service offerings. New outdoor spaces will include The Plaza and Great Lawn, designed to offer welcoming places to gather, relax, and enjoy daily essentials just steps from home.
The Shops
TO BE COMPLETE IN SUMMER 2026Existing favorites, including Park Newport Market, Deli & Café, the Hair Salon, and Cleaners & Laundry, will remain in place while the surrounding retail environment is renewed with refreshed façades, improved pedestrian flow, and upgraded outdoor seating areas that support comfort, convenience, and everyday livability.
The Plaza
TO BE COMPLETE IN SUMMER 2026Formerly home to a central water feature, The Plaza is being transformed into a lively social square designed for gathering and connection. Flexible seating, enhanced landscaping, and improved walkability will create an inviting setting for neighbors and visitors to meet, pause, and enjoy.
The Great Lawn
TO BE COMPLETE IN SUMMER 2026The grassy open area surrounding the Marketplace is becoming The Great Lawn, a new park-like green space designed for everyday relaxation and community use. This open lawn will provide room for informal recreation, pop-up programming, and outdoor lounging.
